Chicago Cop, driver hurt in crash on Far South Side

A Chicago police officer was hurt and another person was injured during a three-car crash on the Far South Side early Saturday morning, police said.

Two police squad cars were parked on the street at 40 E. 107th Street in the Roseland neighborhood when a female driver in a car traveling westbound slammed into the back of one of the squad cars around 2:20 a.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
