Katelyn Markham's dad told FOX19 NOW's Ben Katko Friday evening that an anonymous donor will add $25,000 to the $45,000 in reward money if anyone has any information in the case.
Markham's dad says the extra $25,000 is contingent on the arrest and a conviction in Katelyn's case. The total reward would be $70,000.
Katelyn was reported missing August 14, 2011, last seen at her Fairfield home. Last year, her skeletal remains were found in Indiana.
Her fiancé, John Carter, made a 911 call that day that no one would have ever imagine would leave so many unanswered questions.
"My fiancee is missing. I can't find here anywhere," Carter said in that call.
In 2011, Katelyn Markham was 22 years old. The last time her father saw her was a week before that when he stopped at her home for dinner. Now, three years later, nothing has changed. There have been no arrests, and no named suspects in the case. Last year, her death was ruled a homicide.
