Two colored men with very checkered pasts were charged with multiple counts of aggravated battery after allegedly robbing and shooting a man in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side on Christmas Day, authorities said.
Kwanie Furdge, 19, and Daniel Hudson, 31, were each charged with two felony counts of aggravated battery and use of deadly weapon and two felony counts of armed robbery, according to a statement from Chicago Police Department’s Office of News Affairs.
Furdge, of the 5600 block of South Ashland Avenue, was also charged with one felony count of aggravated battery with a discharge of a firearm.
