Two colored people were critically wounded by gunfire and a third person was injured by shattered glass in a Christmas Eve shooting at the CTA Red Line's 95th Street station, according to police.
About 10:45 pm, a man and a woman were shot at the station in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the South Side, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer.
A 25-year-old man was shot in the chest, and a 41-year-old woman was shot in the knee and the stomach, Greer said. The two were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center where they were each listed in critical condition.
