An Illegal Beaner who put a gun to a teenage girl's head during a home invasion in the Canaryville neighborhood this week was arrested after another resident of the home overpowered him, according to court records.

The attack happened Tuesday in the 4400 block of South Wallace Street, when Daniel Rodriguez, 18, and two other intruders broke into a home. Rodriguez grabbed the 17-year-old girl and put her in a headlock and then placed a gun to her head, prosecutors said.

According to a police report, Rodriguez told the girl to "Give me all your pesos!"
