CHICAGO POLICE: Colored Boy With Checkered Past - Heath Huntspon murdered - Killed in the BACK OF THE YARDS Neighborhood ironically in his Back Yard

Gwendolyn Allen held herself in the light snow as she stood in the middle of the street and watched a police officer snap pictures of her dead son, lying under a white sheet on the front porch of his Back of the Yards home.

It was two hours after the shooting, but the body of Heath Huntspon still lay at the top of the steps early Wednesday morning.  The 25-year-old was the youngest of her three boys.

“What can you say really?” she said, hunched in the damp cold. “They took my heart.”
