This has been a very mild weather week... Common sense should have told any person thinking about ice fishing - NOT TO DO IT! It just isn't worth it when the weather is mild.
Authorities say two Indiana teens have died after falling through ice while fishing at a rock quarry.
The state Department of Natural Resources said in a statement Sunday that divers recovered 17-year-old Clark "Edward" Shoemaker of Spencer and 13-year-old Dominic Arthur of Coal City from the water. The teens were taken to a Bloomington hospital, where they were pronounced dead. Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
