FBI Searches for Suspect In Attempted Evergreen Park Bank Robbery
A man wearing black neoprene mask and displaying weapon tried to rob the US Bank branch on Wednesday afternoon, FBI says.

The FBI released a photo of a suspect wanted in the attempted robbery of an Evergreen Park bank on Wednesday.
The attempted robbery took place around 1:08 p.m. Wednesday at the US Bank branch at 2917 W. 95th St.
Witnesses said that a man wearing dark clothing and a black neoprene mask displayed a weapon but left the bank without taking any cash, according to information on the FBI-run website BanditTrackerChicago.
The attempted robbery was described as a “non-takeover” robbery and no overt force to gain control over bank employees or customers was used.
The suspect is described as a six-foot-tall male black in his 20s.
The FBI did not indicate why the robbery went awry.
