Mayor Rahm Emanuel's teen son was punched in the face and placed in a chokehold as he was robbed near his family’s home in the Ravenswood neighborhood just days before Christmas, according to a police report released Friday.
According to the police report, 17-year-old Zach Emanuel was walking on the 4200 block of North Hermitage talking on his cell phone at about 10 p.m. when a man put his arm around the teen’s neck, putting him in a “rear chokehold.”

A second man then punched Zach Emanuel in the face, knocking him to the ground and forcing Emanuel to drop his phone.
The pair took the phone and patted the teen down asking, “What else you got?” the police report states.
